Like the previous years, hundreds of people from Karbala and other cities of Iraq, in the form of a pilgrimage caravan called “Vela and Feda” traveled to the Syrian capital, Damascus, and paid tribute to the sacred shrines in this country. This pilgrimage trip was organized by Mr. Aref Nasrullah, the director of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Public Relation Office, and in cooperation with the Grand Jurist’s Office and the Islamic Seminary of Zainabiyya in Syria. It is worth mentioning that Mr. Aref Nasrullah and some members of the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Office visited Zainabiyya district and talked to the security officials.
